ANDROID USERS:

Copy the MP3 file to your phone.

Go to Settings > Sound & Notification > Ringtone.

You will see a list of music files stored on your phone. Select "Glory Train Rington" Your selected MP3 track will now be your custom ringtone.

 

 

iPhone USERS

 

Step 1

Start iTunes, and find the song you want to use as a ringtone. If you haven't added it to your library yet, drag and drop the song into iTunes from its folder.

Step 2

Right-click the music file to view its information. From the "Options" tab, you'll want to specify a start and end time for a total of 30 seconds. For example, if the song starts at 2:30, it must end at 3:00 to meet the maximum requirements for ringtones on iPhones. Click "Ok" to close the tab.

Step 3

Right-click the song once more, and select the option to create an AAC version. ITunes will convert your specified 30 seconds into a new song.

Step 4

Open another folder to temporarily store your AAC copy. Click and drag the song from iTunes to this new folder. Alternatively, you can just drag it to your desktop if you find this easier. Delete the clip from your iTunes library.

Step 5

Reset the start and end times of the original song, otherwise the device on which you are playing the song will not play the whole song, just those 30 seconds.

Step 6

Right-click and choose "Rename." Type in ".m4r" after the file name so it will be "[Song name].m4r". Hit "Enter" or click on a blank space in the folder. Renaming switches the file format to make it compatible with your iPhone.

Step 7

Double-click the file, and iTunes will automatically open it as a ringtone.

Step 8

Sync your iPhone and the song will now be in your ringtones list.
